We never realized how beautiful graffiti could be until we visited Valparaiso, the graffiti capital of the world! Sunday we went on a Graffiti tour of Valpo with graffiti artist, Al Ramirez, who explained the evolution of graffiti, with its various styles and world renowned artists – like Inti.
The highlight of the tour for Aliya and Asher was the opportunity to “tag” a wall. Of course, Aliya was very concerned and made sure that our tour guide showed her the permit that allowed us to spray paint the walls. Both kids loved the freedom and artistic expression of making their own graffiti.
