After riding on elephants, it was time to go higher . . . up to the sky . . . to fly with the gibbons!
So we hopped in a van and travelled about 45 minutes outside of Chiang Mai to try the 30 various sky bridges, staircases, tree houses, abseils, ziplines, and spiderwebs at the Flight of the Gibbon.
After getting kitted out in all our gear
We took a family photo! We especially loved having our new family member, Sofia, with us.
We were now ready for our 3 hours of zipline fun, starting with sky bridges (floating footpaths)
Although at first Asher started with Ben holding onSoon he was off on his own, dancing in the sky
And Ben was on his own, too!
I loved how Aliya and Sofia zip-lined holding hands! Then it was time for some Gangham Style zip lining
We zipped across the tree tops (with Raquel getting stuck out in the middle of the line, bravely rescued by one of our guides who squirrel scrambled across the top of the wire until he reached the dangling Raquel who could only keep calm by not looking down)
and down some trees
I loved going through the hole in the platform, down the tree to the lower level platforms
And yes, there really were gibbons flying in the tree tops!
Aliya was so happy to spend the day flying through the trees with her good friend, Sofia!
After zip lining and eating lunch, we went for a little walk around the waterfalls, before heading back to our hotel for the evening.
